Stunning private mansion with epic sea views

Description
The timeless contemporary design was crafted by a team of New Zealand and Thai architects, and built by a German-Thai construction company, using only highest quality natural materials. The finishing of the residence - with its wooden-tiled ceilings, granite and lava stone floors, and large doors - embeds it naturally into its tropical mountainside location. The mix of large glass fronts and natural materials results in a remarkably grand and instantly comfortable property. Furniture, fittings and artworks were sourced or custom made for the residence, and are of the highest standards.
Access to the property is through private electric gates, followed by a curved driveway leading to a covered parking area adjacent to the hand-carved wooden double entrance doors. From there, guests are welcomed into a dedicated reception area, and guided further into the residence.
Internally, all living accommodations are spacious and comfortable, with a distinctive emphasis on being oversized and impressive. The residence is arrayed with six generous en-suite bedrooms across two levels, and covers a total indoor space of 1,400 square metres, as well as approximately 800 square metres of terraces and balconies.
All six bedrooms offer an utmost degree of privacy and comfort, with unobstructed views from each location. Generous full-length windows allow for ample natural light, while conveying a feeling of being on top of the world. The lower level holds the eight metre high glass-fronted living room with panoramic views, direct access to the 16-metre infinity pool (with an even depth of 1.40 metres), and a spacious pool terrace with a covered outdoor living sala to one side.
From there, residents and guests enjoy the warm, tropical breeze, while sitting on the day-beds, relaxing on a sun-lounger, or taking a dip in the pool. An adjacent oversized entertainment and barbecue area features bench-style seating and a long stone table. It accommodates up to 30 guests, sitting comfortably in the shade while enjoying lavish Thai meals, barbecue dinners, and Southern views. In the past, the owners have hosted casual events there for up to 100 guests.

About Rawai
Rawai Beach isn’t great for swimming, but it’s full of color and activity. Longtail boats line the shore, ready to take visitors to nearby islands like Coral Island or Koh Bon. It’s a popular spot to walk, eat seafood, and enjoy sea breezes, especially in the evening. Just a few minutes away are swimmable beaches like Nai Harn, a clean and family-friendly one, or Ya Nui which is a great place for snorkeling.

Rawai has a wide range of housing. You’ll find everything from basic apartments to luxury pool villas. Many homes are tucked away in quiet residential streets or tropical hillsides with sea or jungle views. Prices are generally lower than in west coast hotspots, which attracts both investors and long-term renters.
Rawai is for people who want to enjoy a real, slower version of Phuket. It’s not flashy, but it’s friendly, convenient, and full of charm. Whether you want to retire, raise a family, or work remotely, Rawai offers space, comfort, and a strong sense of community — with the beach always nearby.
